BT Quality Expert Joins Executive Team to Lead iTest Evolution

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – July 21, 2010 – Fanfare, delivering innovative automation solutions to service providers (SPs), network equipment manufacturers (NEMs), and enterprises, today announced the executive appointment of Brian Buege to vice president of products. With over 20 years of technology experience, Buege will lead the product management and engineering teams responsible for the development of Fanfare’s iTest® suite of products.

Prior to joining Fanfare, Buege was based in London, England with British Telecom (BT). Buege was introduced to Fanfare during his three-year tenure at BT, where he was responsible for systems and network testing for the UK national access network, comprised of over 30 million subscriber lines, as well as the testing of BT’s global, internally focused IT development.

In addition to BT, Buege has also held positions with Southwest Airlines, the US Army, and the University of Missouri, where he served as CIO of the Rolla campus. Additionally, as an independent consultant specializing in enterprise software architecture, he has worked with Fortune 500 clients such as Sun Microsystems, Lockheed-Martin, and GE Capital. Buege holds both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in computer science, and numerous technical certifications in networking and information systems security.
