Submission Guidelines

Fanfare customers and partners are encouraged to develop and submit iTest applications and test assets. If you are interested in providing a submission to the iTest App Store, please follow the specifications listed here. If you have any questions about the submission process, please email the App Store Administrator.

iTest Application Submission Specifications

iTest applications that are based on Eclipse (i.e. those developed using the iTest SDK) should be submitted as an Eclipse update site in the form of a zipped (.zip) file. (Information on creating an Eclipse update site can be found here on the Eclipse wiki.)

If you are developing an iTest application that isn't based on Eclipse, please contact the App Store Administrator early in your development process to discuss the appropriate deliverables.

Submission Process

All required files and information should be submitted via email to the App Store Administrator.

Approval Process

Once a submission has been received, it will undergo Fanfare's quality review process to ensure that it contains no harmful code and to verify that it functions properly and meets the Fanfare guidelines. This process typically takes 1-3 weeks, but can take longer if information is missing or if quality issues are encountered.

Note: If the application or test assets integrate with a third-party component, the submitter should be prepared to provide Fanfare with access to the necessary systems or software that will be required to perform validation testing.
