Google Voice™ Integration

This application adds a new "Google Voice" session type to iTest that can be used to send SMS/text messages from iTest.

Usage Overview

This application uses Google Voice as a mechanism for sending SMS/text messages from iTest. This requires the creation of one Google Voice account that will be used to send messages (iTest Sender Account). These messages are true SMS messages and can be sent internationally as well.

Limitations

Note that as of February 2010, Google Voice is an invitation-only service which means that you need an invitation to open a Google Voice account. Google is expected to open this service for all users very soon. If you need an invitation, please post a request on the discussion forum and the developer will attempt to get you an invitation (first come, first served!).

Installation Instructions

This application is provided as a packaged update that can be installed directly into iTest using the "Software Updates" functionality.
