Our Company

Fanfare was started for a simple reason: To simplify device testing for equipment vendors and service providers, while helping them improve the quality and competitiveness of their products.

Developers are constantly producing new products with features that need to be tested. Yet most QA organizations do not have the productivity tools they need to keep pace with developers and handle increasingly complex products. So getting new products to market is taking longer--and quality is suffering.

Today up to 80% of testing is done manually. QA organizations as a result require considerable time and skill level to thoroughly test devices. And those that attempt to adopt automated testing practices often discover:

  • They are spending valuable time and resources to build a homegrown testing infrastructure--but the backlog of tests to automate just keeps growing.
  • Testers are using legacy scripting approaches simply to feed the homegrown system.
  • Testing at the development stage is challenging because developers don't have the tools they need to do simple feature testing.
  • Collaboration and remediation are difficult because testers lack tools, processes, and assets that can be easily communicated in a common language and/or format.

Fanfare set out to develop tools to simplify device testing for users of all skill levels and companies at all phases of maturity--whether they are just starting to automate testing practices or are focused on a completely automated approach to testing.

Today, development teams, test engineers, QA groups, and automation teams from industry-leading equipment vendors and service providers count on Fanfare solutions to save time and get a quality product to market.

"The testing of high-tech equipment and devices that infiltrate our daily lives has become bogged down by increasingly complex software and the manual testing required to ensure quality products. This has become a pain point for the networking equipment industry which is in need of a solution to address the testing backlog."
